Mineirinho vence na estreia e vai à 3ª fase em Margaret River; Italo é derrotado

Campeão mundial em 2015, Adriano de Souza, o Mineirinho, estreou com vitória em Margaret River, a terceira etapa do Circuito Mundial. Os adversários do "Capitão Nascimento" foram o japonês Kanoa Igarashi e o também brasileiro Yago Dora, que foram mandados para a repescagem. 

Quem também terá de passar pela segunda fase para seguir adiante em Margaret River é o líder do ranking Italo Ferreira. O potiguar foi superado pelo havaiano Sebastian Zietz em bateria que contou também com o brasileiro Michael Rodrigues.
